Tell Me About Yourself?

This question is best answered with an overall summary of your strengths, what your interests are, your past job experiences and what you would like to achieve in your career’s next step. This is your first chance to impress, make sure to come across motivated and interested.

What Are Your Strengths?

It is essential to relate whatever strengths you decide to mention to the role and the company’s values. It is also important to become familiar with the responsibilities of the position you wish to fill and match your strengths to them. This conveys to the interviewer that you could be a great fit at their company.

What Are Your Weaknesses?

This is one of the hardest questions to answer. You have to be honest when answering this question, however you must do so while not raising any ‘red flags’. When presenting your weakness have a solution to tackle it in place to show that although it may be a weakness now that it can be rectified in the future.

Why Do You Want to Work Here?

Talk about what aspects of the company you like/identify with to show your commonality. Mention any recent news that you may have learned about the company to show your interest in what they do. Do some research on the services the company offer and about the sector they operate within.

Is There Anything You’d Like to Ask?

This final question gives you an opportunity to show your interest in the company further. Ask ANY questions that come to mind no matter how trivial they may seem. You want to make sure of to make the most of any opportunity to impress. This gives you an opportunity to take full control of the interview and ask any relevant questions about the company.
