North Lanarkshire’s Working Jobs Fayre

April 26, 2019

We recently attended the North Lanarkshire’s Working Jobs Fayre at the Civic Centre in Motherwell. It was our first experience of a jobs fayre and it is fair to say everyone that went had a great experience and found it worthwhile.

Our Sales Director Kathy McBride found the fayre to be extremely beneficial:

“We had an excellent day at the recent jobs fayre we attended at Motherwell Civic Centre.  It was very well attended by both employers and job seekers alike. We engaged with a lot of people who were looking for employment, and we also benefited from being a recruitment agency and took the opportunity of obtaining client meetings with some of the employers who attended.

Our staff who attended found it a very beneficial experience, as it allowed them the opportunity of meeting and networking with likeminded people and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

We were also extremely well looked after by our hosts, and would highly recommend this for anyone who may have an opportunity in the future.  We will definitely be going backā€¦.”

A big congratulations to Thomas Muir the employability manager at New College Lanarkshire who won our Easter raffle at the jobs fayre. Well done to Tom who managed to take a bottle of whisky home, I’m sure he didn’t expect to leave the Jobs Fayre with a bottle of Johnie Walker in hand. The Fayre was a massive success for everyone who attended and we are definitely going to attend many more in the future. If you didn’t have the chance to attend this one keep an eye on our social media to see when the next fayre we attend will be.
