The term self-discipline is known by many however it is only utilised by the few. Those few seem to gain success through using self-discipline. There are a number of factors that contribute towards utilising self-discipline. A misconception of self-discipline is leading a restricted and dull lifestyle, which couldn’t be further from the truth. Self-discipline means focusing on your goals without and doing what i necessary to achieve them, without letting external factors or obstacles to get in your way. Routine
To achieve the goals that you aim to this year it is essential to set up a routine to help. That means doing this that are necessary which you might tend to put off normally. Your routine must be productive which means getting rid of anything that doesn’t aid productivity, for example if one of your goals is to read and learn more spend the hour you would watch tele/netflix reading a new book or searching for articles on the subjects that you would. To achieve your goals, some sacrifices have to be made.
Visualise
It is extremely important to visualise your goals and even more important to visualise the process of achieving them. In doing so, this allows you to create a structured plan to keep you accountable to attaining your goals. Visualising also gives you an idea of what you need to do to and also can be used as a law of attraction to visualise your success before it happens.
Practice
Practicing in essence is repeating a behaviour. Practising self discipline is essential to improve your discipline, if you don’t practice you can’t get better.
